Footer
This is the global footer that appears at the bottom of your website pages. It typically includes company details, essential links, copyright information, social media icons, and links to terms and privacy policies.
Theme settings
You can access the base footer settings in your Theme Settings › Components › Footer:
Choosing footers
Currently, Act3 includes 13 professionally designed website footers. You can choose one footer for your main website and use a different one, or the same, for your landing pages—giving you flexibility while keeping a consistent, polished look across your site.
Footer color scheme
You can choose a Light or Dark color scheme for your footers. This changes the background, borders, and other elements, but most modules have their own color scheme settings and aren’t updated automatically. In those cases, you need to edit your global footer and select the correct color scheme for each module as well.
Footer background color
Added in Version 42. We recommend leaving this blank, unless you really need a different background color. By default, a light footer uses a white background, and a dark footer uses your Dark gray background.
Please note:
If you set a custom color, choose a light color with the Light footer scheme and a dark color with the Dark footer scheme. Otherwise, footer elements may not be visible to users. This option is generally more useful with a dark footer, since light footers usually have a white background.
Footer content width
This setting added in Version 42 defines the width of your footer content. For design consistency, we recommend leaving it blank so the footer uses the default Content width from the Layout settings. The container also includes side padding based on the Gutter setting.
Page settings
You can find a useful setting in the Contents sidebar while editing your page. This is a page-specific setting and will apply only to the current page.
LP header and footer
All page templates in Act3 can be used for both website pages and landing pages. Simply check this box on your page to apply the landing page header and footer, or uncheck it to use the default website versions:
Editing footer content
You can edit the content of your footer by clicking it in the page editor, which will open it in the Global content editor:
You can tell you are in the global content editor by the label in the center and the border around the editor:
Here you can edit the content of the footer, links, icons, forms, and more. Any changes you make to your global footers will be applied across your entire website and landing pages.
Editing your footer is more straightforward than editing your header. Simply click the content you want to change and edit it. There are no hidden modules in the Contents sidebar, so everything is easy to access.
Most modules include their own settings and wrapper styles.
Drag and drop areas
There are two drag-and-drop areas above and below the default footer content where you can add new sections or modules.
Fully drag and drop footer — Footer 13
Starting with Version 42, we also introduced a fully drag-and-drop footer—Footer 13—which gives you the freedom to build your own footer layout from scratch. For this footer, the options in Theme settings—such as color scheme, background color, and content width—are not applied because it is fully drag-and-drop. You control the layout and content directly from the drag-and-drop editor.
